The Casa Leone Boutique Hotel is an authentically restored, historic Venetian villa built in the 15th century, situated at the romantic Venetian port of Chania, Crete. Its original owners were Venetians descended from a well-known family of musicians named Leone, from whom the hotel has taken its name. Decorated with antique furniture, Casa Leone overlooks the Venetian harbour and the 15th century Faros Light House. It offers a waterfront terrace and fully air conditioned guest accommodations. Chandeliers, beamed ceilings and four-poster beds with muslin drapes are standard in most of Casa Leone’s rooms and suites. A traditional Cretan breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room with its large mirrors and wooden paneling. Guests can dine at the many taverns and restaurants scattered around the harbour.
